Savage Arms 110 SAV-1 14oz-3lbs (Hunting)

I started to get spoiled by the SSA-E triggers that I put in my AR15s and the factory trigger on my 30 year old left hand Savage 110 in 30-06 was definitely a detriment to shooting small groups (but didn’t stop the rifle from taking Deer, Elk, Bison and Pronghorn). I installed the SAV-1. The online directions are better than the printed ones that ship with the trigger. Installation was straightforward. Be aware during reassembly that the front action screw on 110s of that vintage is long and the screw needs to be shortened or it will be difficult to close your bolt if the screw is torqued to ~30in-lbs. I got to the range today, about 3 weeks after installation and the trigger is amazing. My first 100yard group was sub moa and 3 holes touching each other. I would definitely recommend this trigger to others.
