International Shipping Policies

Dear Customers,

Creekside Quilts is able to ship Internationally to the following 53 countries with door-to-door tracking. There is a maximum weight limit of 4 pounds per order because we use flat rate shipping. Orders weighing over 4 pounds will not show a shipping option. Please contact us for a manual invoice to ensure accurate shipping charges on orders weighing over 4 pounds. We ship to the following countries outside the US that are in the list below.

Disclaimer:

While we take great effort to ensure that packages sent to Canada and Internationally have the greatest chance of successful delivery, including providing a unique tracking number to the customer, we cannot guarantee that packages will be delivered as that is the responsibility of the shipping agency.  We are not responsible for lost, incorrectly delivered, wrong addresses, or missing packages that do not arrive at the destination.

If a cancellation must be made (includes preorders), transactions are subject to a processing return fee. This also includes all international purchases as the exchange rate fees can be quite high. 

Insurance:

All packages shipped to Canada and International addresses are not covered with shipping insurance. 
If you desire shipping insurance to be added, please contact us before placing your order to make arrangements for insurance and extra postage.

Custom Duties and Taxes:

When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, custom duties, VAT taxes and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will be due once the shipped goods arrive at the destination country and are the responsibility of the buyer/customer. Creekside Quilts ships international packages “duties and taxes unpaid” and does not collect VAT, duties and/or taxes at the time the order is placed. Customers are responsible for paying any applicable duties and/or taxes to complete the delivery of the package in their country.

If the customer refuses delivery of a package because of their country’s duties/taxes/fees charged upon import and delivery of the package, Creekside Quilts will not refund the cost of shipping. A return must be approved by us before it is initiated by the buyer. If and when the product is successfully returned, a refund minus a restocking fee will be charged. There are no refunds on shipping.

Acceptable Items, Customs Inspections and Returns

By placing an international order that ships outside of the U.S., the buyer is responsible for their country’s laws, regulations and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products. Creekside Quilts has no way of checking to see if an item is allowed or not allowed for each customer’s country. If a product is seized, destroyed or returned by customs, their country or subject to specific import laws, we will not be responsible for the loss of the item(s) or the shipping expense. If the buyer wishes to have the item resent, a new order must be created and shipping charges paid again. We are happy to work with you however best we can and encourage you to contact us before an order is placed or before a return is initiated if there are any questions or concerns. A return must be approved by Creekside Quilts before it is initiated by the buyer. Customers are also welcome to contact us when any delays are suspected along the parcel’s transit.
