Serving others through the opening of a community quilt shop

Howdy friends,

Creekside Quilts is a neurodiverse husband and wife team operating an online batik shop. Originally opening online in 2019, we were blessed to be able to operate a small brick-and-mortar shop that resembled a covered bridge in Gales Creek, Oregon shortly thereafter. Covid hit at the same time and though the shop closed to visitors it grew quickly online. Eventually we were able to take reservations until we outgrew the shop and started looking for a larger place to move into. We ended up relocating to Canyon Lake, Texas, where we planned to reopen a new and improved shop in 2026 complete with longarm services, classroom space and a retreat/sewing center.

We opened shop because we love serving others. We can only do this by the grace of God and give thanks to Him for all He has given to us. We try to keep prices low so that everyone can afford to create something beautiful. We’re in this together to serve others because it’s what we have been led to do.
