The title of the review is on the label to describe the soap. This is the newest entry in the company’s line of shaving soaps developed to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s reign. The scent is described as a “sweet orange” or “citrus and grapefruit” with all agreeing that it changes to a fresh herb with an undercurrent of black pepper. This complex scent is difficult if not impossible to describe.Like all D R Harris scents, it will not linger to intrude on your day. This high-quality shaving soap makes a good lather with little effort. The attractive wood bowl is the right size to hold in your hand and will not become slippery when being used.Refills are available allowing you to reuse the bowl.I am a big fan of D R Harris shaving soaps and really like the Marlboro and Arlington scents.I cannot say the same thing about this scent, while nice it not replaced. My bowl is lighter than the one pictured and is closer to the bowl shown on the Arlington page.
