The Xtreme 3 bladed flexible razor is the only razor that flexes and bends to the curvature of the head which results in more blade contact with the hair stubbles on the head. Only the Schick company makes this unique design of a bendable & flexible blade. They have a patent on it. The Xtreme 3 I think was first released around 1999. Personally, I have exclusively used for about 20 years, ever since my hair started thinning & going bald. I decided to embrace the simpler men’s non-hair shaved head lifestyle.Shaving every other day, I can get almost 1 month (maybe 20 shaves) per razor. If your hair is tougher & more dense, then you will have less razor life, about 11 shaves from each razor which is still good!Some reviews say that the Xtreme 3 sold here on Amazon, has been changed from the original available at your local stores. Yes, this is true. With this bulk razor pack, Schick re-designed the handle which is lighter in weight and is more eco-green friendly for disposal. The 3 bladed flexible pivoting razor head is exactly the same, and has not changed. Some may not like the ‘lighter handle’ design but for me, does not make much of a difference. It is still the same Xtreme 3 with regards to shaving quality. Amazon’s price at the time I purchased this 24 razor bulk package, is only 88 cents for each razor. What a bargain compared to retail stores!
